Ensuring User Information Anonymization

We strongly recommend using Apple Sign-In and WeChat Sign-In, and avoiding email binding.

Both authorization login methods generate a unique encrypted string as an identifier, which cannot be traced back to any individual. These are the most secure login options available.

Highly Recommend Apple Sign-In

Apple sets the standard for privacy protection, and we strongly encourage you to use Apple Sign-In.

When logging in, choose the "Hide My Email" option to ensure your personal email address remains private.

Recommend WeChat Sign-In

WeChat Sign-In retrieves your name and profile picture but cannot be linked to your personal identity.

For example, if your name is "Li Lei," there could be a million people named "Li Lei" in the country. A name is not a unique identifier.

If you wish to further protect your anonymity, you can change your name and profile picture in the personal settings section after registration.

Email Login is Not Recommended

Using email login, in extreme cases (with a probability similar to cracking Alipay security), if data is leaked, your email could potentially be matched with other platforms to identify you.

If you must bind your email, we strongly recommend using an email address that has not been registered on any other platform.

Why Don’t We Use iCloud Technology?

  1. Technical Complexity and Data Loss Risk:

Our application relies on multiple third-party service providers. The program structure is relatively complex, making it difficult to integrate iCloud for data handling. Additionally, iCloud storage limitations can result in unsynced data and potential loss when the local app is deleted.

  2. Incompatibility with Android Devices:

iCloud is exclusive to Apple’s ecosystem. We consider that some users might switch to Android devices in the future, making continued use of iCloud-based services impossible.
