These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Island Reader, an EPUB, PDF, and text reader with read-aloud features operated by luyaolab ("we", "us", "our"). By downloading, accessing, or using Island Reader, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
Island Reader helps users import, organize, read, highlight, annotate, search, and listen to supported reading files. Features may include:
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature at any time.
You are responsible for the files and content you import into Island Reader. You represent that you have the legal right to access and use the books, documents, and other files you import.
Island Reader is not a bookstore and does not grant you rights to third-party books or documents. You may not use the app to infringe copyright, bypass DRM, distribute unauthorized copies, or violate applicable law.
Book files and app data are stored locally on your device unless iCloud sync is enabled for supported data. You are responsible for maintaining backups of important files and notes. We are not responsible for lost books, notes, highlights, progress, or other user data caused by device failure, deletion, sync conflicts, software issues, or user action.
The Wi-Fi transfer feature is intended for transferring your own files over a trusted local network. You are responsible for using it only on networks and devices you trust. We do not guarantee that local networks are secure.
